VOLUNTEER
We would love for you to be a part of what God is doing at James River Assembly. There are many opportunities for you to get involved in the exciting things that are happening. There is nothing like knowing that God used you to make a difference in someone's life! That's what volunteering is all about.
To volunteer with a James River Assembly Ministry Team, simply:
Step 1: Complete a Connection Class.
This first step in getting plugged in to volunteer is to sign up to attend a Connection Class. It includes an overview of the story, history and core values of James River Assembly and provides you with an opportunity to connect with the ministry team you are interested in volunteering with. The Connection Class is designed to assist you in finding your volunteering “sweet spot”. This class is currently being offered on 1st and 3rd Sundays at the South Campus and the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the West Campus.
Step 2: Choose a Ministry Team that interests you and Commit to Volunteering.
The initial commitment period to a ministry team is three months. Once you’ve volunteered in a role for three months, you may continue in that role, try something different, or take a break from volunteering.
Step 3: Register to attend.
